Role: Marketing Manager (Freelance, part time)
Dates: Jan – March 2022
Fee: £2,100 (12 days at £175 a day. 1-2 days a week)

Folio Theatre specialises in developing and touring new plays for regional and rural audiences. Proudly based in Wiltshire, we challenge and redefine how contemporary rural living is perceived, creating new plays set in the area and championing the region's creative talent. Our work reflects a national need to share main stage quality work in under-served areas, inspiring artists and audiences to re-connect to arts and culture in the place they call home.
We are looking for a freelance Marketing Manager to help our small, but mighty team of 2 to develop our Marketing Strategy. This will centre around 2 key upcoming projects:
A digital release of a filmed piece of theatre
A new workshop programme for South West artists and communities
Key duties: We are looking for someone to take a lead on Folio’s marketing strategy, with particular attention on our two future projects. This will include:
Creating content and plans for our social media channels
Leading on audience development for our future projects
Holding the relationships with our partner’s marketing teams
Planning and overseeing customer journeys for our two projects.
Person specification: Folio Theatre are looking for an individual with experience similar to the duties listed above. If you match some of these points but not all of them, please still apply as we are keen for all roles within the company to be professional development opportunities.
Knowledge of the theatre scene in the South West is desirable but not essential.
