Role: Streaming Technicians
Dates: 17th - 29th May 2021 (inclusive)
Fee: £1,000 (£500 per week)
Location: Online, working remotely

The project: Folio Theatre have been commissioned by the Arts University of Bournemouth to produce 2 digital productions for their third year acting students. We have pulled together a dynamic creative team to lead these productions, both of which will have the following production schedule:

Rehearsals: 26th April - 22nd May (We would employ Streaming Technicians to join rehearsals on 17th May)
Tech: 24th - 26th May
Performances: 4 performances 26th - 29th May either at 7 or 9pm


Responsibilities: Each performance will be 1 hour long and live streamed over zoom. The actors will be performing remotely. We are looking for an individual to operate each performance, cueing different camera feeds and sound design through open broadcaster software (OBS, or similar) to present a polished production for our audiences. 


Person specification: Folio Theatre are looking for 2 streaming technicians for this project, to work on one production each. We are looking for individuals who will be able to embrace the technological challenges and are up for exploring new ways of presenting live, online theatre. Familiarity with OBS (or similar), experience of using Qlab, and managing events over zoom or equivalent software is highly desirable. Your own laptop to operate from will be required.
